Meet the staff 

Aubrey- Owner and Lead groomer

Aubrey has been grooming both dogs and cats since 2010. Over recent years she has grown to love grooming cats especially, and has developed a style and method to make cat grooming as stress free as possible for our Feline Friends. 

She has noticed a problem in our area though, tools and salons are set up for dogs, with cats as an after thought.  What if we could set up a salon specifically for cats, with an environment designed for them and their specific needs. Fancy Felines was born as a way to solve this issue and better care for our cats. 

Bun- Professional Cat Groomer

Our Groomer Bun has years of experience with both dogs and cats. She has been grooming cats for 3 years under Aubrey's guidence. She has a huge soft spot for special needs kitties. Having cared for a cat with FIV, she spends her time combating misinformation about FIV and FeLV cats and treats them with the love and care she would her own cats. While she may be soft spoken, she is no stranger to spicy cats either. Having taken in a particularly feisty feral cat, she has become an expert on handling some of the most sassy cats fearlessly.

Fancy Felines would not exist without Bun. When Aubrey was considering opening a cat salon, she knew she would need just the right person to help with that. We are thankful every day for Bun and her committment and care to the cats. 

Chase- Office Manager

​Usually the first person you'll see when you come in, our Office Manager Chase is no stranger to cats. As she says, she didn't choose the cat life, the cat life chose her. From the pet resort where she was considered the cat whisperer to the animal hospital, she has always had love for all animals and always prioritizes their health and safety over all else.

​While not officially a groomer, she is regularly in the back getting covered in cat hair to help hold and comfort the kitties while the groomers work their magic. Always willing to answer your questions with a smile, we can assure you that Chase will ALWAYS be excited to see your cats.

Tara- Grooming Assistant and Groomer in Training

Our Grooming Assistant Tara has been with us almost since the beginning. She was so passionate about working for the salon she actively sought us out and we couldn't be more thankful! Tara already has years experience grooming dogs, and now years experience assisting with cats.  She has started grooming cats with Aubrey's tutelage and come fall we expect she'll be our newest groomer!

Tara treats every cat with the gentle kindness and patience they deserve, making them as comfortable as possible during their groom. It's not unusual to see her blow drying a cat while it lounges in her lap falling asleep.

​She is also usually the second pair of hands comforting a cat while the others wrestle with a squirmy or feisty kitty. You can always know your cats are in good hands with Tara.
